“Smile with Confidence”: A health day for the Directorate’s employees

The Directorate of Human Resources in Sharjah held a health awareness day for its employees yesterday at the Directorate’s head office, Central Finance Department Building. The event titled “Smile with Confidence” was organised in cooperation with Dallas Medical Centre, Areej Medical Centre, Attractive Smile Dental Clinic, Denteez Health and Treatment Services, Elite Medical Centre and the New Medical Centre, all of which are participants in Waffer discount programme. On this occasion, Dr. Tareq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Directorate and Member of Sharjah Executive Council, explained that the event is part of the Directorate’s strategies to promote oral and dental hygiene among its employees as prevention is better than cure and that oral and dental health awareness is of utmost importance. “Smile with Confidence” saw the collaboration of a number of health institutions to create awareness on oral and dental health and its effect on the employee's productivity. Bin Khadim added that organising such conferences at the workplace guarantees the adoption of a healthy lifestyle by the employees and their families by increasing their knowledge of oral and dental problems and of the measures taken in this respect.
